In an earlier edition we covered what goes into the decision of what machine to buy CLICK HERE.  In this 2nd edition of “Steps for a Successful Juice Bar” we will cover how to properly display your product.  Small changes in display can have major effects on customer decisions, leading to more sales:

These are special presentations of your products used to attract and entice your customers.  This can include signs, menus, props, and how your product is set up for sale.

They should be clearly visible, within customers
reach, clean and well lit. This is self-explanatory, but also the first step to any successful display. Make sure that your display fulfills these minimum requirements before going forward.

Keep to a theme:  If you are organic; consider a display with earthy tones complete with lush natural fruits and vegetables. Remember to stay focused on a singular theme as you do not want to be too cluttered.

self serviceSigns & menus: Figure out who your target audience is and make sure your signage speaks to them. Are they health nuts and find nutritional information important or is organic the most important thing?  Are most of your customer’s college students or business professionals?  Different customers respond better when you speak their language.  Also, make signs stand out, and use a font and size that are easy to read.

“No Barrier Access”: Remove all barriers to your product – this allows the customer to reach out touch, and feel your product, and removes unneeded steps to your customers purchasing decision. Learn more HERE.

Clear Bottles and Labels: Using clear bottles is an easy way to improve your product’s image premium-clear-bottlesleading to more sales.  This is because customers can see the quality of your juice first hand.  If it looks delicious and ready to eat, it will encourage customers to buy.  Remember to use labels that show your logo and use words and imagery succinctly to give the message you are trying to convey to your customers.

Show off new products, not only your best sellers: Mix it up, and try and introduce some of your regular customers to new concoctions.
